Anne Alvarez is an internationally renowned child and adolescent psychotherapist and author. She is an Honorary Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist at the Tavistock Clininc. She is the author of many articles and books including Live Company: Psychotherapy with Autistic, Borderline, Deprived and Abused Children. In this workshop, intended for practicing psychotherapists and counsellors, Anne will be exploring the implications of the latest research within child development for clinical work. She will be examining different levels of interventions with clients and exploring how to attend to our deepest counter transference feelings and how to manage to contain and transform these in a useful and creative way.
