The importance of life story work for troubled children and teenagers is widely recognized but also often challenging to do in terms of creating an authentic and meaningful narrative for the child. In this training Richard Rose, practitioner and author of - "The Child's Own Story: Life Story Work with Traumatized Children" - will focus on how to work with traumatized children, how to understand the value of comprehensive life story work. He will explain various models of information collation and explore how to communicate with children and address sensitive and painful issues.
